GAR forms should be submitted directly to the National Co-Ordination Unit (NCU) at ncu@hmrc.gov.uk. GARs must only be submitted to this email address during the period of the outage.

You’ll need the following:

  • Aircraft details (including registration number and base)
  • Arrival and departure details (date, location and scheduled times)
  • Captain, crew and passenger details (including travel document information and UK visiting address)
  • Name and telephone number of the person responsible for goods on board

Warning General Aviation Reports emailed directly to Border Force will not be compliant and will not be accepted.

Civil Penalties

Border Force will be operating a civil penalty regime alongside regulations. Failing to comply with these regulations may result in a civil penalty of up to £10,000 per breach. Further details at General aviation operators and pilots notification of flights - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
